Barbara Fell Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioner Barbara works alongside the doctors in the practice to improve patient access to our medical services. As well as holding surgeries, she is able to prescribe a range of medicines and make referrals.
Ann Robillard Nurse Practitioner in Chronic Disease Management
Ann concentrates on management of chronic disease and provides specialist disease clinics in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, coronary heart disease and chronic disease management. Ann also runs an INR clinic.
Susan Dennis Practice Nurse / Chronic Disease Nurse
Our practice nurses offer cervical smears, ECGs, ear syringing, injections etc. Sue also run an INR clinic and provide nurse led specialist disease clinics in diabetes, coronary heart disease and chronic disease management
Angela Watson and Jackie Bell, Healthcare Assistants
Our healthcare assistants take blood, check blood pressure, test urine, performs ECGs and remove sutures. They also performs diabetic feet checks, NHS health checks and can give certain vaccinations. Our Healthcare Assistants assist the GPs and practice nurses.
Sharon Wilson Practice Manager
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Stacey Thomson Medicines / Reception Manager
Catherine, Sharon and Kirsten work along side Stacey in Medicines Management. They deal with issuing repeat prescriptions and all prescription enquiries.
Stacey also manages the reception team. Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.
Our reception team is Stacey, Marjorie, Jill, Linsey and Ann.
Susan Reay Finance / Senior Admin Officer
Susan assists the Practice Manager with finance and other practice related administration
Secretaries / Admin
Ann, Alison and Sheree deal with all correspondence, hospitals referrals/choose and book, and arrange clinic appointments for chronic disease management.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
